Death of foreign cruise passenger

Corfu Port Authority was informed yesterday evening that a 65-year-old foreign passenger of an Italian-flagged cruise ship, who needed immediate hospital care, was taken by ambulance to the Corfu Hospital, where he died.
Corfu Central Port Authority, which is conducting the investigation, has ordered an autopsy.
The ship departed to continue its cruise to the port of Souda, Chania.
