Filming of "The Return" in Corfu

CORFU. The film stars Ralph Fiennes as Odysseus, Juliette Binoche as Penelope and Nikitas Tsakiroglou as Laertes.
The filming of the feature film "The Return" continues at a rapid pace in Corfu, in selected and impressive locations on the island.
The film's theme revolves around the return of Odysseus and is the first international production to be shot based on the Odyssey in decades, as director, Uberto Pasolini, points out.
The internationally renowned actors Ralph Fiennes and Juliette Binoche star in the film, with Ralph Fiennes playing the role of Odysseus and Juliette Binoche portraying Penelope. Greek actor Nikitas Tsakiroglou takes on the role of Laertes.
The filming is being carried out with the support of the Regional Administration Ionian Islands Film Office, the Municipalities of North Corfu and Central Corfu and the Corfu Inspectorate of Antiquities. Corfiot collaborators, technicians, and supporting actors are also participating.The production and co-production are being handled by the Greek production company Heretic, which has already received a Golden Phoenix award at the Cannes Film Festival in 2022.
Filming in Corfu is expected to be completed by the end of May.
