CORFU. The two generations came together with laughter and smiles on the occasion of World Health Day.
The garden of the Senior Day Care Centre (KAPI) was filled with children's laughter on Friday morning as the two generations sang, danced and played together. Pupils from the 2nd Kindergarten and 2nd Nursery visited the KAPI today on the Occasion of World Health Day.
The initiative came from the Social Protection and Solidarity Association (SYKOIPA) in order to bring the elderly and children closer together to experience the value of physical and mental health through various activities.

The children, with their joy and liveliness, lifted the spirits of the elderly, making them feel like children again. In the beautiful garden of the Daliétou facility, young and old sang, exercised and played. Relay races, ball games and other competitions were the highlights of the morning.
Staff from the 2nd Kindergarten and 2nd Nursery all provided support as well as the President of SYKOIPA, Maria Zervou. Both the children and the elderly enjoyed this unique experience that brought together two generations and was held for the first time.
