CORFU. Motorcyclist, 18, in hospital with fractured bones.
There was a serious hit and run accident on the Roda-Karousades road on Tuesday night. The incident happened at around 23:30 when a car hit a motorbike and abandoned the scene leaving the 18-year-old motorcyclist with fractures in his arms and legs.
A private ambulance rushed to the scene and took the young man to Corfu Hospital, where he remains hospitalised. According to hospital sources, he will need surgery.
The incident has not yet been reported to the police.
