Application for annulment of building permits in Erimitis to be heard on Wednesday

CORFU. Application by the North Corfu Municipality for the annulment of the road elevation studies approved by the Ministry of Infrastructure.
The application for the annulment of the building permits of the Kassiopi Project's investing company in Erimitis will be heard on Wednesday 15 February before the Council of State.
The appeal is essentially against the decisions of the Ministries of Development and Infrastructure, which transferred the authority to approve the elevation studies to the central government, bypassing the North Corfu Municipal Council.
With an amendment by Adonis Georgiadis, who invoked the long delay in its approval by the North Corfu Municipality, the responsibility passed to the Ministry of Infrastructure, which completed the process with impressive speed.
The Minister of Infrastructure and Transport Konstantinos Karamanlis signed on 28 May 2020 the approval decision of the road elevation study for the Kassiopi project in Erimitis.
On 2 September 2020, the North Corfu Municipality filed the appeal to the Council of State. The case, which had been postponed in 23 November 2022, will eventually be heard this Wednesday.
