AHEPA donates furniture to hostel for abused women

CORFU. Central Corfu Municipality is expected to reopen the hostel shortly.
AHEPA is helping support the Hostel for Women Victims of Violence due to be reopened shortly by Central Corfu Municipality.
The organisation is providing furniture for the rooms at the hostel and has donated 20 beds with their mattresses, 20 bedside cabinets, 10 mirrors and 10 dressing tables.
The members of AHEPA are happy to support the reopening of the facility which provides a valuable service for women and their children who have been victims of violence and live in fear and rejection.
We consider it necessary to make greater efforts to create an efficient support system to enable more women to have a stronger voice against any form of violence.
The board of the local AHEPA branch would like to thank the business owner Dimitris Kotsis for his participation in this donation.
