΄Be a Scout for a Day!΄:Collections outside large supermarkets

On Saturday 2 April scouts will be holding collections outside selected supermarkets during opening hours.

Corfu Scouts are calling on all members of the public "who can" to help "those who can't" by donating longlife foodstuffs such as milk, rice, pasta, pulses, oil, tinned foods, coffee/tea, sugar, flour, cereals, sweets, concentrated tomatoes etc. as well as basic necessities such as paper goods, healthcare items, detergents etc.

While you are shopping, if you see some smiling scouts asking you to "Be a Scout for a Day", and you are able to give, then you can be assured that all the goods collected will, on the same day, all be passed on to food banks, community shops and organisations helping the disadvantaged as well as families, children and seniors in need. The Scout Hall in Faliraki will also be open 12:00-20:00 on Saturday 2 April for anyone wishing to donate.

Every year over 2-3 tons of food are collected and passed on to those in need. On 2 April we have a chance to do something for our fellow humans - please help us to help those in need.
