CORFU. Awareness-raising event organised by the Corfu branch of the Hellenic Cancer Society, the Surgical Association and ΄Sympleo΄ Friends of the Hospital Society.
We treat breast cancer with respect - not fear!
Breast cancer is the most common cancer amongst women worldwide. In Greece approximately 7,500 women are diagnosed with breast cancer every year. BUT early diagnosis and regular screening can save lives! There are now modern, improved therapies.
The Corfu branch of the Hellenic Cancer Society is collaborating with the Surgical Association and ΄Sympleo΄ Friends of the Hospital Society to organise a breast cancer information event for the public on Saturday 20 October, 11:00-13:00, in G. Theotoki St. (behind the Municipal Theatre). Corfu Hospital Mobile Unit will also be there for voluntary blood donation (10:00-14:00).
