Holy Blessings for start of new school year at Kontokali Nursery

The Holy Blessings ceremony for the start of the new school year took place at the building where Kontokali Nursery School has been housed up to now. The transfer of the nursery to containers has been put on hold for the moment following the strong protests of parents and teachers.

Parents told Enimerosi that the building has a lot of problems such as damp, holes in the walls, repairwork is needed in the toilets and the grass remains uncut. They said that they have spoken to the Municipal Councillor responsible for Education Maria Zervou and there will be a further meeting to discuss the repairs and cleaning work that is needed.
