Municipal vehicle fleet being renewed – 17 new vehicles for Cleaning Services

Following an international electronic invitation for tenders, the Municipality of Central Corfu and Diapontia Islands has entered into a leasing contract for the supply of 17 vehicles to the Cleaning Services.

The vehicles are as follows:
5 refuse collection vehicles with packing plates with a capacity of 16 cubic metres
4 open type refuse collection vehicles with a capacity of 4 cubic metres

1 3-axle 26 ton hook lift vehicle for transporting waste containers
1 4-axle 33 ton hook lift vehicle for transporting waste containers
1 3-axle 26 ton tipper truck
2 2-axle 10 ton tipper truck with crane and hook
1 2-axle 10 ton tipper truck with crane and grab
1 2-axle 3.5 ton mixed load tipper truck
1 2-axle 7.5 ton mixed load tipper truck with crane and grab

The above contract significantly renews the Cleaning Services fleet. The contract is valid for 5 years from the time of delivery. The company will be responsible for insurance coverage, licences and legal documents.

The delivery of the above vehicles will be made in 210 days from the signing of the
contract at the Municipality's depot.

Study budget: €3,648,824 including 24% VAT.
