CORFU. The Corfu branch of the Hellenic Mathematical Society (EME) congratulates Adriana Samoili.
Corfu student Adriana Samoili is the first in 40 years to graduate from the Mathematics Department at Athens University having studied exclusively with Braille.
The Corfu branch of the Hellenic Mathematical Society (EME) issued the following statement: "It is with great pleasure that all of us at the Corfu branch of EME welcome our new colleague Adriana Samouili to our maths family.
Her example demonstrates that dedication to the goal the will to realise our dreams can overcome any obstacles.
