Reduction in Municipal taxes for businesses that have closed or been hit by the pandemic

CORFU. Central Corfu & Diapontia Islands Municipality is reducing local taxes for businesses that have had to close or have been hit by the pandemic.
Deputy Mayor for Finance Giorgos Pantelios issued the following statement:
"Our Municipality has already reduced the local taxes for cleaning and lighting since businesses first had to close.
All businesses that have closed or have been hit are dealt with by the Municipal income department - in person, by phone or e-mail. Applications can also be made via the online KEDE platform which will then be examined by the responsible department.
The following are required for applications:
1. Business electricity bill
2. Confirmation from the ERGANI system or a printout from TAXIS showing that the business has had to close or has suffered."
