Gold Medals for young Corfu athletes Spyridoula Karydi and Panayiota Dosi

PATRAS. On Saturday 8th, the first day of the National Athletics Championship, 2 Corfu athletes won Gold Medals - Spyridoula Karydi and Panayiota Dosi.
Young Corfu athlete Spyridoula Karydi continues to win Gold in all the age categories. Yesterday she won the national women's triple jump with 13.91 metres, which she achieved on her 4th attempt. She jumped 13.89m on her first attempt, the 2nd and 3rd attempts were foul jumps and following her winning 4th jump she didn't take part in the 5th and 6th rounds.
Panayiota Dosi won the women's high jump with 1.85 metres on her 2nd attempt and became National Women's champion.
In the men's events Corfu athlete Dimitris Monopolis came 6th in the triple jump with 15.35 metres, which was well below his personal best.
