CORFU. The Marina Management talks about the prohibition of vessels from abroad mooring as well as other protection measures.
"D-Marin Gouvia, with the responsibility it has towards the community, employees and customers, wishes to update the public on the necessary measures it has taken to help protect the community as a whole.
First of all, the Marina continues to strictly adhere to the guidelines from the authorities and the protocols of the Group it belongs to - D-Marin. In this regard, and remaining in contact with the responsible authorities for any further developments, we have implemented the following:
- Guidelines from the Civil Protection General Secretariat have been put up throughout the Marina.
- All the protection measures have been imposed on our personnel.
- Arrivals of vessels from any geographical location have been prohibited as well as any form of disembarkation of passengers from 19/3 to 19/4 in line with the latest instructions from the responsible Ministry.
- Technical activities have been limited.
- Seminars, meetings and trainings have been cancelled.
- Communication with the Marina is conducted by phone, e-mail and radio - and in person only for urgent cases.
- For the protection of the personnel and the community as a whole only a small number of staff work every day.
- The toilets and work areas - public and otherwise - are disinfected on a daily basis.
- There are daily printed updates on protection measures against the virus.
The management and members of Gouvia Marina will continue to monitor the situation in Greece and abroad and take all the necessary measures to be ready to respond to every need at this difficult time."
