CORFU. Arillas Cultural Initiative is organising the 2019 Wine Festival on Saturday 7 September in the olive grove 200m from the beach.
The method of wine production that has been passed down from generation to generation will be demonstrated in all its stages, accompanied by traditional local songs and dances from the women of the village and the local dance group.
Last year's wine will be offered free when you buy a handmade painted jug made by society members - and you will be able to refill it free as many times as you want! Women members of the society will also be offering traditionally made grape spoon sweet.
Dance groups will be performing local dances and the Phaeaces band will play live music.
