Elderly woman injured whilst boarding ferry boat

IGOUMENITSA. An elderly woman had an accident on Monday evening whilst boarding the Ano Hora ferry boat from Igoumenitsa to Corfu.
The 87-year-old woman fell on the steps as she was boarding the ferry boat at Igoumenitsa and injured her right hip. She was taken to Corfu Hospital for examinations.
Igoumenitsa Port Authority is carrying out a formal investigation into the incident.
