2nd Corfu Tourism αειForum Conference opens

CORFU. The 2nd Corfu Tourism αειForum Conference has begun at the Ionian Academy.
The conference is taking place 19 - 21 October. The following will be taking part: representatives from local organizations, central government, FedHATTA and leading Mediterranean destinations, Greek and international specialists and representatives from companies that have invested in Corfu.
Welcome addresses were given by the Mayor of Corfu Kostas Nikolouzos, Corfu SYRIZA MP Fotini Vaki, the President of fedHATTA Lysandros Tsilidis, the Dean of the IT Department at the Ionian University Kostas Economou and the President of the Corfu Hoteliers' Association Babis Voulgaris. Aliki Katsarou, representing the San Giacomo Cultural Society, also welcomed the participants.
The conference sessions are as follows:
- Technology and Innovation in Tourism
- The Load-Bearing Capacity of Tourism as a Tool for Sustainable Economic Development
- The Economies of Sharing and its Consequences on the Local Economy.
