Private sector employees protest against Regional Governor΄s decision on shop opening hours

CORFU. Corfu Private Sector Employees Union issued a statement condemning the decision of the Regional Governor to relax the limits on shop opening hours and increase working hours.
The Union mentions a Corfu chain which is asking its employees to work until 10 at night from now until 31 October! It states that the decision was taken by the Regional Authorities following a request from the Business Association and that it is a further step in the relaxation of opening hours and the abolishment of Sunday closing.
