LEFKADA. A patrol boat from Lefkada Port Authority was carrying out a routine patrol when it spotted the immigrants near Vassiki, Lefkada at 2am on 6th January (Epiphany).
11 men, 3 women and 8 children – Iraqis and Kurds – were on board a rented speedboat. The Port Authority is now carrying out an investigation.
