Lightning strike sparks fire at apartment building in Kanoni

CORFU. The Fire Service responded immediately to extinguish the fire in Figareto.
Fire broke out in an apartment building in Kanoni when the building was struck by lightning during the severe weather.
Strong firefighting forces, including vehicles and specialised personnel, rushed to the scene to contain the fire and prevent it from spreading to neighbouring areas and apartments. So far, no injuries have been reported.
