International Children’s Book Day – ‘Plant stories and the world will blossom’
CORFU. Together, choreographer Sotiris Bouchagiar and theatre scholar/musician Eva Kanaki invite you on a two-hour journey of physical expression and creativity.
This year, on International Children’s Book Day, we go beyond the pages.
At Book Nook – Centre for Culture and Information, information takes root, words blossom, and stories find their voice and movement!
We invite our young friends to two unique workshops that combine creative writing with the performing arts and digital media!

Saturday, April 4
16:00–18:00 | “The Garden of Stories” | Ages 4–7
We create our own stories and bring our characters to life through dance and live music!
Join choreographer Sotiris Bouchagiar and theatre scholar/musician Eva Kanaki for a two-hour journey of physical expression and creativity.
18:30–20:00 | “Story Pods Lab” | Ages 8–12
We plant words that bloom and transform into unique stories. We create, record, and build our own audio story archive.
A deep dive into the world of narrative architecture, creative writing, and podcasting!
At the end, each child takes home their own “seed” to nurture—along with a brand-new story!
