Officials from Women’s Shelter meet with members of AHEPA Corfu
CORFU. The meeting addressed the Shelter’s operations and ongoing work, as well as the activities of AHEPA.
(Central Corfu Municipality) A meeting between the staff of the Central Corfu Municipal Women’s Shelter for Victims of Violence and members of the Board of Directors of AHEPA Corfu took place on Thursday, March 5.
The meeting focused on providing updates regarding both the operations and work carried out by the Shelter, as well as the activities of AHEPA Corfu. At the same time, the groundwork was laid for collaboration on matters of mutual interest, and the prospect of organising joint initiatives was discussed, within the framework of raising awareness in the local community on issues of gender-based violence.
The project “Women’s Shelter for Victims of Violence of the Municipality of Central Corfu & Diapontia Islands – Continuation of Operations”, is part of the “Ionian Islands 2021-2027” Programme under the priority “Strengthening social cohesion through support for human resources.” The project is co-financed by the ESPA and the European Social Fund.
