CORFU. Repairs underway on Scholemvourgou Street – Much of the town without water.
Since early this morning, a large part of Corfu Town centre has been facing a water supply outage due to damage in a main water pipeline.
According to the first reports, the damage has been located on Scholemvourgou Street. Technical crews are already at the site and are working to repair the problem in the main pipeline.
The water supply is expected to gradually return to normal by the afternoon, provided that no unforeseen issues arise during the repair works.
Residents and businesses in the area are kindly asked for their understanding until the damage has been fully repaired.
