A 55-year-old man lost his life on Sunday morning while carrying out work at a construction site in the Roda area.
The incident occurred on the road parallel to the Roda-Sidari road. The 55-year-old was seriously injured under circumstances that remain under investigation by the competent authorities.
An Ionian Care ambulance rushed to the scene, provided first aid to the injured man, and transported him urgently to the hospital.
Despite the intensive efforts of the medical staff, the unfortunate man succumbed to his severe injuries.
