Car falls into river – passengers unharmed

Two people had an unexpected ordeal in the early hours of Saturday when the car they were travelling in fell into the river in Ermones.

Fortunately, the two occupants remained calm and managed to get out of the vehicle on their own before rescue teams arrived. Authorities who reached the scene immediately began searching for them and located them at a nearby house.

An ambulance was immediately called and transported the two passengers. According to reports, the occupants sustained only minor abrasions, and their condition is not a cause for concern.
