We cannot say “no” to drilling and “yes” to a model of development that devours energy, water and natural resources. This contradiction does not invalidate the resistance. It reveals the need to change the very model of production. The problem is not just the drilling in the Ionian Sea. It is the economy that demands it and the way of life that sustains it.
