CORFU. In return, the Corfu Regional Special Needs Association provided a wheelchair for the 2nd Special School in Velonades.

(North Corfu Municipality) Thanks to the great response from local residents, one and a half tons of plastic caps have been collected. These caps were delivered by the North Corfu Municipality to the Corfu Regional Special Needs Association. In the spirit of reciprocity, the Association then donated a wheelchair to meet the needs for such equipment.

This particular initiative has a dual character, combining support for recycling and environmental awareness with volunteerism, compassion, and social solidarity. It provides an opportunity to transform social sensitivity into tangible assistance for fellow citizens facing mobility challenges who are in need of help.
