Afra Primary School: Pan-Hellenic Day against school violence and bullying

March 6th has been established as the Pan-Hellenic Day against School Violence and Bullying. It provides an opportunity for teachers, pupils and parents from schools throughout Greece to exchange thoughts, information and ideas and raise awareness of violence and bullying in schools, in order to combat it and prevent the negative impact it has on children’s interpersonal relationships.
Afra Primary School pupils watched a short film about bullying in schools and then discussed what could be done to prevent and combat violence and bullying amongst pupils, which can have such a negative effect on their interpersonal relationships.
They then formed the word ‘MILA’ (talk) with their bodies, hoping and promising to fight against bullying and violence in schools both in Greece and the whole world.
