Christmas lights will be switched on in Old Town on Saturday

CORFU. The events organised by the Central Corfu Municipality and put together by DIPETHE start at 6 p.m.
DIPETHE is promising a festive blend of lights and music this Saturday, when the town’s Christmas lights will be switched on.
The festivities will cover the area from Pentofanaro to Annunziata, taking in St. Spyridon Square, Old Town Hall Square, and naturally the Municipal Theatre.
The percussion ensembles of all three municipal Philharmonic bands, Metron Artistic Association, local dance schools, the children’s choir “Ag. Spyridon,” and even Corfu Masquerade will be participating.
Dimitris Metallinos will be on the decks, followed by a performance from the Boombox Collective.
The Municipality’s call to residents comes under the slogan: “Come, let’s light up our town!” The events are scheduled to begin at 6 p.m.
