Firefighter injured in Roda house fire

CORFU. According to reports, it does not appear that he was seriously injured. He was taken hospital by ambulance.
A fire broke out on the roof of a house in Roda on Friday morning. Three fire engines with six firefighters arrived at the scene. Nobody was at risk as they managed to evacuate in time. The fire was contained, eliminating any danger of it spreading. However, damage was caused to the floor below due to debris from the roof.
During the operation, a firefighter was injured when part of the roof collapsed at the spot where he was standing to extinguish the fire. According to reports, the injury does not appear to be serious. The firefighter was taken to hospital by ambulance.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
