7% increase in arrivals at Corfu Airport in August

There was 7% increase in the number of arrivals at Corfu Airport in August, compared to last year's data.
According to the official data released by Fraport, 927,547 passengers were handled at Corfu Airport, compared to 866,624, in the same month last year. 56,317 came from Greece (9.9% increase compared to last year's 51,242) and 871,230 came from all over the world (6.8% increase compared to last year's 815,383).
There was also a 5.8% increase in the number of international flights, with 6,415 (arrivals and departures) compared to 6,062 in August last year.
Flights from Greece numbered 578 (10.5% increase compared to 523 in August last year), while the flights from all over the world numbered 5.837 (5.4% increase comprared to 5,539 in August last year).
According to the arrival and departure data from Fraport, United Kingdom again holds the top spot with 138,366 arrivals, followed by Germany with 58,998 arrivals and Italy completing the top three with 57,300 arrivals.
