Tourist season begins with double-digit growth at Corfu International Airport

CORFU. Passenger traffic at Corfu International Airport increased by 11% in April, with more than 189,000 passengers passing through the airport. The performance significantly exceeds the average growth rate of airports managed by Fraport Greece.
Passenger traffic at Corfu International Airport increased by 11% in April compared to the same month in 2025. According to the monthly update from Fraport Greece, the total number of passengers was 189,581.
In April 2026, the airports managed by Fraport Greece handled a total of 1.8 million passengers in a single month, recording an increase of 3.2% (around 56,000 passengers) compared to April 2025.
Domestic passenger traffic reached 640,000 passengers, marking an increase of 4.9% compared to the same month last year.
International passenger traffic reached 1.2 million passengers, showing an increase of 2.3% compared to April 2025.
Since 2017, the year when the 14 regional airports were concessioned, Fraport Greece has handled more than 256 million passengers.
