ATHENS. Panayiota Dosi will participate in the first Olympic Games of her career.
Panayiota Dosi will take part in the Paris Olympic Games, having received an invitation from the international federation.
The Greek athlete was just one position short of qualifying, and thus, just 24 hours before the finalisation of the participants, she made it to Paris due to a cancellation. This brings the Greek delegation to 14 members, while Dosi will be the second Greek woman in the high jump, as Tatiana Gusin has also qualified.
She will take part in the first Olympic Games of her career.
