Young Corfu athlete wins European Under-23 silver medal

TALIN. Spyridoula Karydi remains one of the top young European atheletes. Following her gold medal at the European Under-20 Championships in 2019, she now won silver at the Under-23 Championships.
On Friday evening, with a jump of 13.95m, Spyridoula Karydi won the silver medal in the triple jump at the Championships held in Talin, Estonia.
Spyridoula didn't have one of her better days and only with her 4th jump did she do enough to take second place. In the qualifying round she had jumped 14.04m and her personal best this year is 14.19m.
The gold medallist was Danismaz from Turkey with 14.09m.
