Man arrested with half kilo of cannabis and 3,600 euros

A 29-year-old man was arrested on Tuesday afternoon, 02/07, and a felony case was filed against him for drug trafficking.

Officers from the Corfu Drugs Squad located and arrested the man after acting on information received. During a search of his person and his residence in an area on the outskirts of Corfu Town, the following items were found and confiscated:

• 516.5 grams of unprocessed cannabis,
• 1 electronic precision scale,
• 3,600 euros in cash
• 1 mobile phone.

An investigation into the case was conducted by the Drugs Squad, during which an additional motorcycle was confiscated as a means of facilitating the trafficking of narcotic substances.

The arrested man was brought to appear before the Corfu Public Prosecutor.
