CORFU. "We kindly ask all consumers to contribute to the above effort by fulfilling their financial obligations through the immediate settlement of their debts, so that the company does not find itself in the unfortunate position of having to cut off water supply."
Extremely urgent announcement issued by the North Corfu Municipal Water Supply & Sewerage Company regarding the extension of debt settlement for consumers. The announcement states the following:
The newly established North Corfu Municipal Water Supply & Sewerage Company is making great efforts to upgrade its services and to settle old pending issues that have been inherited.
Particular emphasis is placed on: the effort to ensure water sufficiency, with increased quantities, with connections to new networks with new boreholes, and with the exploitation of sources. We kindly ask all consumers to contribute to the above effort by fulfilling their financial obligations through the immediate settlement of their debts so that the company does not find itself in the unfortunate position of having to cut off the water supply.
We also inform you that due to intervening holidays, an extension for debt settlement is granted until Wednesday, July 3, 2024. From the day after the payment deadline, the company will proceed with water supply cutoffs without further notice, and without bearing any responsibility for any damages that may result from the water supply interruption.
It is necessary for all of us to contribute to the resolution of the major water supply problems of DEYA North Corfu.
