Two arrested for drug trafficking

CORFU. Quantities of processed and unprocessed cannabis were seized, along with 42,400 Euros, a precision electronic scale, and a motorcycle.
Two 26-year-old men were arrested yesterday afternoon, 12 December, by the Drugs Squad and a criminal case for the felony of drug trafficking was was filed against them.

In searches conducted at their residences just outside Corfu Town, the following items were found and seized:
- 82.8 grams of processed cannabis,
- 29 grams of unprocessed cannabis,
- a sum of 42,400 Euros in cash
- 1 precision electronic scale.
An investigation into the case was carried out by Corfu Drugs Squad, during which a motorcycle was also seized.
The arrested men were brought to appear before the Corfu Prosecutor.
