CORFU. According to the Fire Department, residential areas are not threatened.
The Fire Department was called out to a fire in a wooded area near Kanakades at 12:45. According to information from the Fire Department, there are already 12 firefighters on the scene with 3 vehicles and a ground team, while 2 firefighting aircraft are also on their way.
The fire does is not a threat to residential areas.
