Man arrested with large quantity of illegal pills

CORFU. A total of 450 pills of various types were seized.
A 58-year-old man was arrested yesterday afternoon, 27 September, for drug trafficking.
According to police, the 58-year-old was arrested based on information received and during a ssearch conducted in the storage area of his business premises, located in a suburb of Corfu Town. In this search, pills of various types were found and seized.
The investigation was carried out by Corfu Drugs Squad. The arrested individual was taken to appear before the Corfu Prosecutor.
A criminal case has been filed against him for drug trafficking.
