CORFU. Six fire engines and 14 firefighters went to the scene and were able to put it out.
The Fire Service was called out to a fire in the Barbati area at approximately 14:50. According to information received, the fire broke out in an area with low vegetation.
Six fire engines and 14 firefighters went to the scene and were able to get it under partial control by 16:10.
The fire has now been completely extinguished.
At no time was there any danger to human lives or property.
