Greek PM presents Ionian Islands development programme

CORFU. More than 260 projects for the Ionian Islands in 2030 totalling €1.8 billion.

At the event held in Corfu, Greek PM Kyriakos Mitsotakis and the government ministers presented the development programme, with planned projects totalling €1.8 billion.





The presentation took place at the Corfu Holiday Palace Hotel, while the Minister of State Akis Skertsos and the Ionian Islands Regional Governor Rodi Kratsa were with the Prime Minister.
 
Also present at the event were the Minister of Culture Lina Mendoni, Minister of Tourism Vassilis Kikilias, Minister of Island Policy Yiannis Plakiotakis, Deputy Minister of Interior Stelios Petsas, Deputy Health Minister Mina Gaga, Deputy Minister of Finance Apostolos Veziropoulos, Deputy Minister of Agricultural Development Giorgos Stylios, Deputy Minister responsible for Infrastructure Giorgos Karayiannis, Deputy Minister of Education Zeta Makri and Deputy Minister of Tourism Sofia Zacharaki, as well as the General Secretaries of Island Policy Manolis Koutoulakis, Interior Athanasios Balerbas and Michalis Stavrianoudakis, Environment Sdoukou and Sport Mavrotas.
 
The event was also attended by the Ionian Islands Deputy Regional Governors, the three Corfu Mayors, the Regional and Municipal Council Presidents, party officials and candidates, the Corfu Hospital Director Manto Egglezopoulou, the Ionian University Dean Andreas Floros and others.
