CORFU. Kyriakos Mitsotakis visited the iconic Corfu property, where renovation work is underway.
Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis and an entourage of government officials visited Villa Rossa, the iconic Corfu property, where renovation work is underway, on their one-day visit to the island as part of the ND election campaign.
Accompanying the Prime Minister were Minister of Culture, Lina Mendoni; the General Secretary of the Ministry of the Interior, Nasos Balerbas; Inspectorate of Antiquities Director, Tenia Rigakou; Regional Governor, Rodi Kratsa; Deputy Regional Governor for Technical Works, Manolis Orfanoudakis; Corfu MP Stefanos Gikas and ND parliamentary candidates.
The renovation project has a budget of €4.8m and is part of the Ionian Islands 2014-2020 Business Programme with 80% of the funding coming from the European Regional Development Fund and 20% from national funds.
