Man who robbed Sotiriotissa mini market at knifepoint caught

CORFU. Sources say that police were able to identify the perpetrator with DNA analysis.
After almost a month the man who robbed the mini market in Sotiriotissa at knifepoint on Wednesday 23 November has been caught.
The investigation confirmed that the man, who had his face covered and was wielding a knife, forced the owner of the mini market and an employee to hand over approximately €1,000. (see the Enimerosi report here)
According to information received, police were able to identify the perpetrator with DNA analysis. They found and seized the perpetrator's clothing and the 14.5cm knife he used.
Charges were brought against the man, which will be passed to the Corfu Prosecutor.
