CORFU. The men were arrested for theft from a repair garage and attempted theft from a DEI substation.
Two men were arrested for theft early yesterday morning, 1 December.
They were located quickly by police patrol cars after they had broken into a repair garage just outside Corfu Town on Tuesday night and stolen used car batteries worth €250 and then broken into a DEI substation but didn't have time to take anything.
They were found to be in possession of burglary tools and €360 and the car they used for the robberies was seized.
The two men were taken to appear before the Corfu Prosecutor.
