Six arrests for noise pollution and playing music outside allowed times

As part of their ongoing checks of cafe bars and entertainment venues, Ionian Islands police arrested six business owners last night (19/7) and early this morning for disturbing the peace and playing music outwith the times allowed.

Kavos, Corfu - Four people were arrested for playing music outside the allowed times.

Lagana, Zakynthos - One person was arrested for exceeding the allowed noise levels.

Ithaki - One person was arrested for playing music outside the allowed times.

All those arrested were taken to appear before their respective prosecutors.
