Kavos shop owner arrested with laughing gas ampoules

CORFU. Arrests were made in Corfu and Zakynthos and a total of 446 laughing gas ampoules were seized.
Two people in Corfu and Zakynthos were arrested in the last 24 hours for selling laughing gas ampoules.
According to the police press release, a retail shop owner in Kavos was arrested in the early hours of Sunday morning with a total of 428 laughing gas ampoules and balloons available for sale. He was also charged with being open outwith the times allowed.
A foreign national was also arrested in Lagana, Zakynthos early on Monday (4/7) morning who had in his possession 18 laughing gas ampoules for sale.
Both were taken to appear before their local prosecutors.
