CORFU. We do not believe that this decision creates a problem for businesses, as there are only a few that violate it and cause noise pollution in our town.
The San Giacomo Cultural Society said in a statement that it goes without saying that the law on noise pollution must be respected in the Old Town.
“We do not believe that this decision creates a problem for businesses, as there are only a few that violate the law and cause noise pollution in our town.
On the contrary, we believe that it goes without saying and that it is fair to comply with the law and that there should be regular checks to ensure that living, quality of life and doing business will be the same for every resident, businessperson and visitor.
We hope that catering businesses will comply with the regulations.
It is important for all of us to realise that a town without residents will sooner or later mean a town without visitors, a town without authenticity.
We wish a good summer season to all businesses with respect for the quality of all.”
