Old Town Hall lit up for Orange Days
CORFU. A gesture by the Soroptimist Club in collaboration with the Municipality of Central Corfu and Diapontia Islands as part of actions to eliminate gender-based violence against women.
(Soroptimist Club) As part of the 16 Days of Activism of International Soroptimism's ORANGE DAYS campaign to eliminate gender-based violence against women, Corfu Soroptimist Club illuminated the Old Town Hall in orange on Monday, November 25, in collaboration with the Municipality of Central Corfu and Diapontia Islands.
The club has planned a series of actions during the 16-day period starting on November 25, the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women, and lasting until December 10, the International Day of Soroptimism and Human Rights.
We extend our heartfelt thanks to the Municipality of Central Corfu and Diapontia Islands, as well as the Corfu Electricians Association, for their support.
We Soroptimists stand against violence and inform, educate, support and empower women.
