Second Civil Protection meeting in view of the fire ban period

The meeting was held online and was chaired by the Deputy Mayor for Everyday Life and Civil Protection Haris Yiotis. During the meeting they discussed issues related to planning and civil protection actions, as well as the necessary measures that should be taken at a municipal level in order to deal with dangers from forest fires.
 
In particular, at the meeting the following were discussed:
 
- The progress in the implementation of the actions that the participating bodies promised to implement during the first meeting held in the first half of April 2022.
 
- Issues related to information for the public on the prevention of forest fires.
 
- Various other matters related to the adoption of preventive measures and the implementation of actions at a municipal level.
