CORFU. 10-year-old Tasos, the only pupil on Mathraki, proudly carried the Greek flag.
The only pupil on the small island of Mathraki, off the northwest coast of Corfu, 10-year-old Tasos carried the flag today for the celebration of the 25th March independence anniversary.
Dressed in the traditional tsiolia costume, he laid a wreath and paraded with the flag, watched with pride by teachers, his parents and the local residents.
